Someone to help clean and label a research dataset

Looking for: Research assistant or data-minded student

Master's thesis work on how Austrian job adverts describe required German levels. I have scraped about 40,000 adverts and need a second pair of hands to build a labelling scheme and work through a sample with me so the annotations are consistent.

Time: 6 hours a week · 6 weeks
Where: Vienna · university library or remote · remote ok
Compensation: Unpaid — co-authorship on any resulting paper, and I will write you a reference

What you would be doing

Work out the labelling categories together, annotate roughly 1,500 adverts, and note where the scheme breaks down. Careful reading matters more here than technical skill.
