Moved to Graz from Milan in 2009 and spent a decade recruiting engineers. Now advises people who have arrived recently: what your qualification counts for here, what Austrian employers expect in a CV, and which sectors are genuinely open to non-German speakers.
Returning to work after a break, and negotiating what you are worth
Coaches people coming back after parental leave, illness or caring for a relative. Spends most of the first session on how to talk about the gap without apologising for it, and the rest on what to ask for.
